As a former school counselor at the high school level, I highly recommend this book for educators, social workers, counselors, pastors, foster parents and anyone who works with or cares for children who have suffered trauma. It would also be helpful for some youth who have experienced similar trauma because the book ends with a message of hope and freedom. Destini has a unique writing style that takes the reader into her mindset at every part of her story.
